The Love Project
The Love project began in the summer of 2011, and was initially published in Frenzy Magazine. The magazine featured about 20 of my favorite images, however, I enjoyed the project so much that I want to share more then just a select few. It is also in my heart to continue the project and add to it every year... My fundamental goal is to bring people together in the name of love and invite them to share what it is that enables them to love fully, whole-heartedly. It is a project about slowing down, listening to your heart, being in love...with yourself and others, and expressing that in beauty and words. For me, it is something I am creating purely for the joy of the experience, and to give people the gift of imagery, while learning something about myself and my passion for photography. Thank you for looking! -
BURNING MAN 2011 | GALLERY 2
Its actually overwhelming the amount of photos that are taken on this journey to Burning Man...but an absolute blessing because they are so filled with joy. My first gallery of portraits was my top choice for each person who played during portrait sessions, and tended to be a bit more serious. Gallery 2 represents my additional top choices and is filled with a bit more humor and fun. Weeeee!! -
BURNING MAN 2011 | GALLERY 1
This year was my very first time to journey out to the Black Rock Desert, to what I can honestly call the most inspiring, heart-opening and creative adventure I have ever been on. It is imposible to describe the experience with the power it deserves, because it is not about the stories, pictures or parties. It is an absolute feeling that is not one commonly found in our daily lives. The connections with people are profound and expressive, because this place, with its history, landscape and spirituality is simply full of beauty and acceptance. The portraits were a way for me to document each person's essence, simplicity, spirit & beauty. -
self expression
Individual portraits are something we often don't think to do unless we are graduating from high school or putting on a wedding gown. I definitely do both of these, but also encourage people to have an individual portrait done, they are not only fun, but they are a wonderful mirror with so much more grace than the one you look in to every day. Individual portraits can give you a much needed boost to your self confidence, harness the beauty you know you embody, and are a lovely treat to tuck away and pull out later in life. -
lovely in love
Documenting the love between two people is one of my most favorite experiences, especially when people let their guard down and open them selves up to share the love with me and the camera! It is sweet, powerful, and warming to see photos of you and your love in a creative light. These photos are the perfect reminder to inspire you when you are having a touch day, longing for each other or simply celebrating your love! -
maternity
I'm just going to put it out there...if you don't get photos taken of yourself when you are pregnant, you might really regret it! You may feel large or swollen, or both, but you are an absolute image of life and profound beauty. You are at a time in your life that is a rite of passage and a complete miracle. Embrace this time of beauty and I promise I won't disappoint you ;) -
little ones
Awwww! They're cute, precious, sweet, darling, lovely little teeny tiny bundles of joy. I absolutely have such a deep love of photographing babies and children, probably because I already strive to capture pure simplicity and love. Children embody this purity and I am so honored with each child I have the opportunity to photograph. And they grow up so fast...so having photographs done of your little one when he/she is under a year is a gift you can give your self as a parent that you will cherish forever. Because they change so fast, I offer packages that you can group throughout the year and save. -
in the family
Family portraits are something special because they truly preserve the feeling of your connection with each other. As everyone gets older and children grow up, adults go off to live their lives, the dynamic changes, it is always changing and evolving. Family portraits capture such a moment in time, and are truly a gift, to everyone involved. I love looking through the camera and seeing the relationships in front of me, so don't be shy, embrace the best in your relationships and show me the love!
